Description Jeanne and Sandy are having such a great time knitting their Rock Island Shawls by Jared Flood! The good Joes that they are, they split a hank of Lorna's Laces Helen's Lace in Jared Flood's Commentary color, Grand Street Ink since the pattern only calls for 600-680 yards of fingering weight yarn. How cool is that? They are trying their hands at different needle sizes because of gauge - Sandy went with a US 6 and Jeanne with a US 7. They are almost done with the edging and then they will pick up their stitches and start the body of the shawl. I can't wait to see the finished pieces!
