Our Bean, Aimee, is a granny square queen! She just finished the
Jethro Cardigan, which combines a crochet granny square body with knit sleeves (the best of both worlds!). The granny square body was joined with the continuous join technique and then seamed at the shoulders and under the arms. The button band, sleeves, and hem are all stockinette. While Aimee used Knitologie Swirl yarn for her Jethro, she says
Yarn Citizen Harmony Worsted or
Harmony DK would be a great yarn substitute! The pattern calls for DK weight but Aimee wanted a little more ease for her cardigan. Aimee says she loved making the Jethro Cardigan SO much she'll be whipping up another in Malabrigo Rios - we can't wait to see it!
