Description The pattern is based on The Great American Afghan. This turned out to be a very small version. I only knit 6 squares total and it is a lovely little lap blanket. I used Lamb's Pride Worsted, but designers used Cascade 220 or alternatively you could use the superwash 220 - the colors are great in all of these yarns. I made my own Victoria-version, some squares from the book and some standard stitches that I apply to the same format.
