It is knitted in one "scarf" or strip of stockinette stitch, which is folded, sewn, and then finished with a garter stitch edge and a pompom. It makes a snug and practical wrap for a new arrival in the crib, stroller, or simply for carrying in your arms. The yarn is a beautiful merino cotton, which is idea for a summer or winter baby, comfortable, and easily washable. Make this in classic cream, traditional baby pastels or modern brights. Stripe it or edge it in a contrasting tonal color or texture. If you have never picked up knitting needles before, try this simple project! Kit includes Yarn. Pattern Book is optional.
