Taken from the French Girl Knits book: "The body is constructed at an airy gauge to encourage maximum fluidity. The gathered lower back joins the upper portion, leaving openings for the sleeves, which are then worked downward to the desired length".

The author suggests using US 10.5 and 11 circular needles for a loose bind off, these are not included in the kit.
US 8 35" circular and double pointed needles are required for the body and sleeves but not included.
Gauge 15 sts/4 inches in stockinette and 8 needles.
Color shown is #639 Anthracite.
