Taken from The Knitter's Guide To Hand-Dyed And Variegated Yarn: "The body of this vest is knit back and forth in one piece, then divided for the armholes, which means there are no seams to interrupt the stitch pattern and less time is spent on finishing. A thorough blocking will remedy the slight tendency of this stitch pattern to skew."
