A hooded scarf that's designed to look equally good with the hood up or down. The ends feature a simple shell pattern that's echoed in the hood shaping and that can be worked in either direction which means that the whole thing is worked in one piece. I absolutely love this pattern. My first one I did in two colors, but, I'm thinking of making another one patch work style! Knits up fast and is short adorable! I also added beads inside the bottom to weight the doll to sit up on his own better.
This is a clear and easy pattern and it was fun to knit. The pattern calls for one skein of Malabrigo sock yarn, but I ran out for the 3 rows of edging, so used a contrasting color. I think the contrasting edging gives it some extra pizzazz. This is an adorable and flattering little shawlette. I love it!
