Terrific Patterns & Yarn 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
The patterns are fanstastic, took some time as I am a beginner but plenty of varying patterns for every skill level.  The yarn knits beautifully, only disappointed as they seemed to have discountinued the yarn.  First found my color on eBay and then found the yarn here at Jimmy Beans and bought up some more for my next project.

definitely do your gauge swatch 4 out of 5 (4 out of 5)
This collection consists of 16 designs that are classic and stylish, as you would expect from Kim Hargreaves. All of the patterns are written for the Rowan yarn Plaid and are all reccommended to be knit up on size 11 needles. My only beef is with their gauges. if every pattern is knit on the same size needles with the same yarn, then why are some of the patterns listed as having 11 sts/4in, some as being 13sts, some as 15sts, and some as 16sts? I've worked several of them and these patterns really do knit up beautifully, you just have to do a lot of fiddling before you start to work one to make sure that you get gauge.

BIG beautiful Accessories 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
We bought the Rowan Pattern Book, Big Accessories for the Martin Storey caplet pattern called Teacup. There was so many more scarves and hats we've decided to make. Every time we turned the page we were presented with another beautiful item to help keep us fashionably warm. If you, like us love big accessories, we recommend this book of excellent Rowan Patterns.

Very pleased 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I desparately wanted this book, but was unwilling to pay the seriously high price required for converting dollars to pounds. Fortunately, I found the book at JBW and am thoroughly enjoying it. Perhaps her second book will be carried???

I love all of the recipes in this book! I'm just sorry that some of them require Creative Focus Worsted.

Rowan is Fabulous 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
Another great Rowan book full of cozy possibilities for the colder months. The Gabriele Shrug and Noelle Capelet will be the first two on my project list.
