A zippered case just for Double Pointed Needles and Crochet Hooks with built in Notions Case on the outside.
Two rows of 8 pockets inside are varying widths to accommodate multiple sizes and amounts of needles and hooks. Top row holds 7" lengths and bottom row holds 5" or longer lengths. See-through flap prevents slippery needles and hooks sliding out of the case when opening or closing.
A WET Erase marker can be used on the vinyl flap to mark the contents of each pocket. A Dry Erase marker can also be used but will rub off with use. The Wet Erase marker is similar but must be wiped with a damp cloth to be removed.
Built-in zippered Notions Case on the outside back is just as roomy as the stand alone Notions Case and still includes the small interior pocket for small items.

Chicken Boots - Interchangeable Needle Case

Each needle pocket row is elasticized and has 12 pockets in varying widths plus three more that could be used but are not intended for use. The extra pockets are located one on each end under the zipper tape and one in the center-along the fold of the case. Needle Pockets measure 1/2" to 1" in width but stretch and will hold US 15 needles in the largest pockets. Cord flaps have 4 pockets each and also hold needles inside case. There is a large built-in Notions Case on the outside of the case similar to the one on the DPN/Hook Case. It has small interior pocket for tapestry or cable needles or similar.
Measurements: Close, the case measures 12" tall by 6.75" wide approximately. Open, the case measures 12" tall by 13.5" wide approximately.
Notions Case measures 5.5" by 12".
Needle Pockets are 3" tall.
Cord pockets are 3.5" and 4.25" deep. |

And why is this one the best? Tri-fold design so you can rotate the holder without your pattern ever being upside down, magnetic closure - no pesky snaps that take two hands, place-holder that slides down line by line to show where you are at in the pattern, folds closed, and my favorite part: a cable needle holder on EACH rotating section (look closely for it in the photos!). This holder will hold a tapestry needle, large cable needle, or small cable needle. This design works exceptionally well if I say so myself - and I rarely do! |
