This is a wonderfully soft yarn and a bargain for the yardage! I love the subtle colours, too. I find this to be much closer to a lace weight/light fingering yarn, and probably would not recommend it for socks or anything that is going to put a lot of stress on it. I think it would be really luxurious carried with another yarn -- added softness and a slight halo make this one of my new go-to yarns. |

This yarn is a beautiful color and feel, but be prepared for knots and bad bits. I had two skeins and each one had 6 or more knots or slubby spots that drifted apart. Luckily I had plenty extra so I could accommodate all the breaks in my shawl pattern. Over all the yarn breaks really easily, so you might reconsider if you need it to take tension or stand up to heavy use. |

Gorgeous, yarn, quick knit & blooms beautifully with a light blocking. |

What to give people who have all the yarn in the world? Jimmy Beans has yak yarn, so my friends who had birthdays got a yakky surprise. Very soft and lovely, and Jimmy Beans, as usual, got it to me quickly. Love Jimmy Beans.
