Some of the unsung heroes of our project bags are, well, our project bags! Each new print pattern was carefully curated to show off a new, extended palette of shade and print combinations to bring a little joy to your day and a pep in your stitch! These colors are more toned down than the original Leaf/Red and Stripes/Sunset, focusing on the earthy tones of autumn. You guys let us know that the sheep are just too stinkin' cute, so we paired them with colors like Navy, Red, and Slate for a moody, classic feel. We've also got our hands on something incredible!!

The Cat/Polka Dot print! This option pairs two patterned prints together for a quirky spin on the color blocking of the original Cotton Print collection. This cute little fella pays homage to the many times our cats have gotten into our crafts with a modern spin on polka dots! Each della Q bag and case is made by hand with love and features eye-catching designs and subtle details like buttons and leather straps to pull everything together! It's no secret around here that we LOVE Gaye Glasspie. She's been a huge inspiration to us through her love of the sunshiney color of orange and the work she does to bring awareness to the community through meaningful live videos on Instagram and posts that have brought tears to our eyes. Several of the Beans have spoken about wanting to know her better and be her friend because she's just so kind and, well, loveable. There's only one GG and we are so, so thankful that we get to live at the same time as her! Want to learn more about GG? Honoring her hard work and giving a voice to those who may be silenced, Madelinetosh teamed up with GG again, expanding the ever-popular GG Loves Orange colorway into more bases! Last time we talked about this color, it was only available in Tosh Vintage but now we're excited to announce this peppy shade is now available in A.S.A.P., Home, Impression, Tosh Merino Light, and TML Triple Twist so everyone can join in the fun with a plethora of new project ideas! 10% of the proceeds from each skein of GG Loves Orange will be donated to a very special new effort from Madelinetosh (psst! More on that below!)

This color is used in the Mad Love #1 digital pattern booklet, which features designers like Nancy Ricci, Tamara Kelly, Jewell Washington, and our own MadTosh Maven, AnnMarie Baker! For every purchase of this booklet, 100% of the proceeds will be donated back into the MT Community Love Fund, an effort to raise donations though creative collaborations and partnerships. Old Bases, New Colors!

Sometimes we just need a breath of fresh air to reinvigorate an old love for something we've previously held close to our hearts (and project bags). That's why we always get so excited when our favorite lines of yarn come out with new palettes because then we can love them and have something new all year long! Malabrigo knows this well and stoked that fire in our hearts with new colors to get us excited for making this fall!

Malabrigo Rasta was on the receiving end of a new palette of colors recently, called Pintada based on a new method of dyeing, and we're super excited to share them with you guys! Malabrigo Rasta is a super bulky, single-ply yarn perfect for all sorts of cozy projects! The construction of this yarn gives you the option to felt your project if you so desire! Being a super bulky weight yarn, Malabrigo Rasta is perfect for beginners or anyone who just wants to knit or crochet up a project in record time. And the best part? It's ultra-cozy and soft! One of our favorite colors from this new collection is 177 - Blueberry Cream! One of our favorite things about the changing seasons is that we can finally look forward to a new magazine just bursting at the seams with all sorts of new projects from shawls to sweaters, even to various food items (one time a magazine came out with a recipe for salsa and we've been using it to this very day)! Madder Making Magazine is great at coming up with new, unique ideas not only for our needles and hooks but our kitchen cabinets and sewing kits as well! It's like the ultimate homeowner's book to DIY making!

We're excited to announce that it's officially that time of year again! Madder Making Magazine is coming out with a new edition, and to say we're obsessed would be an understatement! In this edition of Making, you can expect to find things like socks, shawls, and pullovers!

Using intricate stitch patterns and designs, wow your friends and needles with some gorgeous pieces that remind you it's okay to slow down and take the day minute by minute! Each design we finish up becomes a piece of history for our families, which makes all of these patterns just that much more special for our project bags and closets!

Come On, Vogue!

You didn't really think we were gonna talk about new magazines without touching on the ever-popular Vogue Knitting Magazine, did you!? Of course we weren't! Vogue Knitting Magazine is one of the best places for you to find that perfect pattern no matter the season! Each edition features designers from all over showing the very best of their abilities to make you feel as fabulous as ever once you bind off!

This edition features the likes of Amy Gunderson (Hooray for the Beans!), Jeannie Chin, and Deborah Newton, who have all shown off their knitting chops to get that coveted spot in the magazine. How crazy is it that you could design something and have it be physically in someone else's hands halfway across the world!? What an absolute dream!

With a huge focus on color blocking and textured stitches, this edition of Vogue Knitting Magazine comes in clutch this season, as we've all been eyeing those popular color-blocked sweaters recently. There's something so cozy and inviting about using the most of your skein to make blocks of color in eclectic ways - you can never be too old to have some fun with your craft!

Time seems to be moving so quickly as of late - can you believe we have just a little over a month before we can open up our Craftvent surprises!? We're so excited we could just dye! This year's Craftvent is a special one because it features two incredible designers for both the knit and crochet versions, making your pre-Christmas morning (AKA December 1st) that much more special!

Designing the Crochet Craftvent Calendar, The Gingersnap Wrap, is CocoCrochetLee! Her vision for this project was to challenge makers around the world with a new pattern for each section of the scarf, ranging from cables to post stitch ribbing to post stitch texture.
