We can just picture it now - as soon as we arrive at our destination (in a stretch limousine of course), we're swarmed by paparazzi. Between the silvery camera flashes, we witness the most exciting thing of all: the bouncer lifting up the velvet rope! We're important and everyone knows it.

While that may be a dream, we can still feel that same rush by being a member of an exclusive club, right? Coming home to a package with limited edition yarn colorways in it makes us wanna flip our hair and kick our legs up in excitement!

The Madelinetosh Sweater Club is a great way to stay connected with other like-minded makers who are knitting up the same project! This quarter's project is the simple, yet elegant Basic Raglan by Joji Locatelli, which is easier than last quarter's sweater and totally beginner-friendly! Starting on July 15th, this project will be finished in time for the change in weather, making it one of our first wardrobe picks for those chilly fall mornings! Choose from one of three custom Madelinetosh DK shades that were voted on from our community: Pear, Please, Portal, or Sunsetter!

It's getting hot, and we understand if you don't want a sweater-in-progress on your lap in temperatures that are reaching triple digits, so what do we do to get our knitting fix? We turn to make some socks, of course! With the new Jimmy Beans Sock Club, you get a mystery skein of yarn each month from an indie dyer of our choice. Two colorways are currently available, which give a hint as to what palette you will receive, aptly named Fun and Vibrant and Moody and Bold.

Each month will also provide you with a new design by an indie designer and an accompanying video to help you through the various techniques found in the pattern. This club is starting things off with our first indie dyer, Lola Bean, offering her gorgeous eye for color one sock at a time!

Small things always catch our attention! Little animals like frogs or kittens with their big ol' eyes make our hearts melt! They're just so stinkin' cute! Even inanimate things like tiny stones and mini cookies make us go "awww". And don't even get us started on those cute little skeins of yarn!

They're so adorable and addicting to squish, but we always ask: what do we make with these? We crave a reason to indulge and pick one (or twenty-one?) up.

We have to admit that we've been a little obsessed with reality television lately. Shows that focus on blind dates and chaotic first meetings are some of our guilty pleasures. They've been at the forefront of our minds so heavily that we started picking out our yarns in a similar fashion! It only makes sense to blend these worlds together - there are so many options for good yarn out there that we can't help but make our own twined dates between them and our needles to see if it's truly a match made in heaven!

That being said, here are our gorgeous contestants!

Contestant 3 - Ombre Sport

Party With Pom Pom!

There's just something about summer that makes us want to be a little bolder in our color and shape choices when it comes to what we wear and make. Okay, maybe it makes sense when you look at the other seasons, but come on, neon shades and summertime were, like, made for each other! You don't usually see us sporting electric green and highlighter yellow in the fall.

Taking notes from the radiance of the sun and the typical, happy summer hues is the newest edition of Pom Pom Magazine! Utilizing colors that make us smile just by looking at them, 11 designers came together to create interesting shapes and silhouettes for our next crafting sesh! Each pattern is accompanied by equally vibrant photography that shows off the fit, drape, and stitch definition of the project. Like all Pom Pom Magazines, this issue also has a little somethin' extra in it! In this case, it's a simple recipe for a handmade pasta flavored with sun-dried tomatoes. Y-U-M!
