Jeanne stars in this instructional article about how to do a Picot Cast Off. Even if you have never even heard of a Picot Cast off, click on play and check it out! We hope you enjoy it! Here are the instructions written out: 1. Using the knitted cast on method, cast on 2 sts 2. Cast off the 2 sts by knitting 1 st, then knitting the second st (you now have 2 sts on the right hand needle), now (using your left hand needle) slip the 1st st over the second st on the right hand needle, leaving one st, knit one more st from left hand needle to right hand needle (2 sts), now slip the 1st st over the second st on the right hand needle, leaving one st 3. You will now cast off the next 3 sts from the left hand needle normally, then slip the last st back onto your left needle, repeat all 3 Posted by Laura of Jimmy Beans Wool |
