Review List
I wanted to be very negative about this yarn because I spent so much time picking little pieces of hay, straw or whatever it was out of each skein. In fact, I couldn't knit a single row without having to stop and pull something out of the fiber, and by the time I finished I swore to myself that I would never use this yarn again. With that said, I would absolutely use this yarn again. The finished sweater is lovely and it's probably my favorite project to date. I knitted a open cardigan called Summer Solstice and the Silky Wool gives it a nice drape and I like its slightly rustic look.

Not so sure
I'm not sure if I would purchase this again. It is soft and the blue is lovely for a baby boy, but the yarn fuzzes a little when knitted up and it's quite light. It almost feels light a fingering weight. I prefer the heavier wight of this yarn.

Average, ho-hum yarn
Not impressed with this yarn. I don't really like working with cotton because I find it a little tedious on the hands but was hoping the silk would give it a nicer, smoother touch, but alas, it does not. I do, however, like the soft, muted color and the slight tweedy, rustic look. Although I haven't completely finished this sweater CEY Open Cardi I think there is enough silk to give it a nice drape. It is a nice weight for summer. I purchased this yarn on wool watchers which I'm very glad for because I would not pay full price for this yarn.

WHAT A BARGAIN
I used this yarn to crochet a very heavy, warm afghan and I'm very pleased with the finished project. I think it is perfect for home items such as afghans, pillows, stuffed toys, etc., but I don't know if I would like it for garments. It does feel soft in the skein but you can feel the acrylic as it's being worked up. That's fine for home items but not so fine for something next to the skin. Perhaps someone else can testify to its use in clothing.
I used 13 skeins for a throw sized afghan worked up in a woven stitch on a K hook. It's heavy, but I really like it. Out of the 13 skeins, 2 had a single knot - not bad at all. The yarn itself was evenly dense, was not splitty, and had a even color throughout.
To sum it up, I think this an excellent yarn for your home craft items.

Very nice
Purchased this yarn for a shawlette and hat for my daughter. Soft enough to wear next to the skin and has good stitch definition. I would purchase this yarn again without hesitation. I wish, however, that Cascade would take the 220 out of the name. I assumed it had 220 yarns like their worsted weight, but it only has 136 yarns forcing me to quickly order 2 more skeins and pay a second shipping.

Lovely yarn
Purchased this in the lima colorway to knit up a vest for my father-in-law. I really like the color for a man. The yarn in yummy soft and is knitting up beautifully. Every easy on the hand. The only problem I'm having (if it's a problem) is that the yarn's chain construction makes cabling difficult. It has forced me to use a cable needle which I hate because it slows me down.
