Fantastic yarn for all seasons
I bought this yarn to knit a summer top. The cotton/wool blend is perfect for traditional weather items. It has the benefit of both the wool and cotton.
The cotton makes it nice and light and the wool completely eliminates that I don't like to knit with cotton' issue. The stitch definition is great and when my niece tried on the top her first comment was on how soft it was.

This yarn has the best of both worlds. The wool and cotton work nicely together. I just knit a short sleeve summer top with it and the first thing my daughter noted was how soft it is. I blocked each piece before seaming it the first time and it was very long, even when I tried to shape it in to the correct measurements. But it dried beautifully and was only 1 longer than pre-blocking.

Not for guys only! Fantastic Learn to Knit book.g
I had the opportunity to take a class from the author, Nathan Taylor and enjoyed it so much I bought his book even though I am not a 'guy' and although I completely applaud his goad to get more guys to knit, the book can be for everyone.
This is a well thought out learn-to-knit book by an excellent teacher who learned to knit and became one of the top national teachers in just 6 years. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn to knit and also for those that area teaching others to knit.
I especially like that it discusses other important aspects of knitting besides how to wrap yarn around a needle. You'll learn about gauge, industry standards, yarn and other things Nathan wished he had known when he started.
Nathan also known as the Sockmatician is now know for his incredibly intricate double knitting projects. There are lovely photos of these scarves and hats.

Nice to have 50g size
CoopKnits is a very fine yarn with a gauge of 9 sts per inch. Perfect if you don't want bulky socks. The stitch definition is great.
I also really like that if comes in 50g skeins so I can buy two colors for the same pair of socks. I needed to move down to a US Size 0 needle in order to get gauge.

Namaste bag to the next level
I'm so lucky to live near the JB store in Reno. We got a sneak peek at the bags and were able to take a close look at all of them. The buzz in the store that night was all about the color palette and the details. It was really hard to pick a style and color. I picked the Crossbody Bag because it was just the right size to act as an everyday bag too. The backpack was my second choice and will be on my holiday wish list.
The quality is better than the Namaste bags I bought at Stitches several years ago. You can tell Laura Jimmy spent a ton of time thinking about both the features and the quality. Full disclosure - I do teach some classes at the store but I have been a JB customer since they opened in Truckee 16 years ago so this is my customer side and pocket book talking!

Great for kids and your sport weight knitting
Looking for a nice replacement for Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino? This is it. Same gauge, nice colors. I only wish they would call it Sport Cashsoft because it is definitely not just for babies.

Perfect holiday gift, glamorous and fun.
Hi. I need to tell you up front that I teach at JImmy Beans so this is an insiders scoop. I have never seen everyone go so crazy over a product staff and customers as we did over these shawls. They are very light to wear, I didn't want to take mine off. The hand embroidery is amazing. I bought 4 as gifts and my MIL already opened hers birthday. She loves it too!
