Not for gifts
I think this is a very cute finished garment. There are two options, one for baby pants with an elastic waist and other for high-waisted baby overalls with feet. My main complaint with the pattern is that it does not include the information you need to actually knit the overalls with feet. If you are knitting this as a gift, you will need to ask a parent to measure the baby to make sure it will fit, ʊnd knit like crazy to get it to them while it still does fit) or do internet research to determine what size to make the feet. In addition, the straps on the overall version have buttons that you are supposed to place Ȫs desired" which means you have to figure it out for yourself. I personally buy patterns when I do not want to figure it out myselfI just want to knit and have a finished item I can use or give to someone I care aboutnot another project that I have to do extensive research to complete or worse, something that I take hours to knit only to find that it does not fit the intended recipient, or that it requires the recipient to ask me to fix it so it can be used (I won't even consider the scenario of the ill-fitting garment sitting unused in a drawer and never being placed on the baby because it does not fit).  If I had known that I would have to figure out the sizing myself, I would not have bought the pattern.
