Tried these at my LYS
I hate double-pointed needles with a passion, but the shop owner persuaded me to try them. They are much better than straight double-pointed, because they flex around so you feel you are using a circular - they also seem to hold the stitches on better than regular doublepointed ones, because of the acrylic cord/bent shape. I bought one pair on the spot. I probably will still use the 9 for sweater sleeves even though they hurt a bit to use - but for smaller weight projects, I'll get a stash of these. Expensive, but very very useful.

Substantial buttons
Got these because they looked like abstracted viking serpents. 5/8 size, flat but have a deep shank backing 1/4 deep. Also rather hefty. I was going to use them for a blouse, but I may now use them for either a blazer or knitted cardigan, due to weight and shank. Very happy with them.

Have picked up several of these for stash
While not my favorite tosh yarn lace-discontinued they are perfect for shawls - just make sure you have some vinegar on hand for the green and blue shades. Short skeins have plenty to do most shawls.

Looks different than non-dyed Honor
Dyed honor is more shiny, and it seemed more tightly skeined or thinner? than the Lorna's natural. Don't think the gauge is actually different, but the overall luster is, if you are planning to mix and match the yarns. But cosmetic issues really. It feels really nice.

Slightly different than photo
Fabric isn't being sold much longer so moot point - My fabric was slightly different than photo. My central diamons were yellow, not purple, and the losenge line was olive not rust. But it looked just as nice so no biggie. Shame no more fabric being sold. It feels different than the stuff I get in regular fabric stores.
