Rachel knit the popular
Traveling Woman Shawl by Liz Abinante, a for-purchase pattern on Ravelry, out of Noro Kureyon Sock in bright and beautiful oranges, pinks, and teals! She did 4 repeats of the lace pattern to make the shawl larger, and so needed to use two balls of the Kureyon Sock, but following the pattern exactly should only take one ball. We don't carry Kureyon Sock, but Taiyo Sock would be a good alternative with the same yardage; we recommend color 23 for a similarly bright effect! She also used a size 7 needle to get gauge - the original pattern calls for a size 6. You should use whichever size that gets you gauge for the pattern on your selected yarn.
