Bethany is left-handed, so regular patterns can be a bit of a challenge. The bright side of this is that Bethany has learned how to knit without patterns and make things up as she goes along! This matching dad and baby hat set is a perfect example. She just cast on stitches of the
Tosh Chunky Onesies until the size looked right. Then she knit/purled a few rows of ribbed stitches to keep the hat from rolling up and then continued stockinette stitch all the way to the top, adding stripes and wherever she felt they would look good, and decreasing when she got to the length she wanted! Thanks, Bethany, for being a reminder that you don't have to follow a pattern to create cute knit pieces!
