Autumn's Watch Cap

I love doing this pattern! The Watch Cap (from pg 118 of Knits men want by Bruce Weinstein) is great for gifts because you can use any yarn you like, and you don't have to worry about matching the gauge to the pattern! That makes it great for stash busting. I just love how the top spirals. To ensure that it spirals, place stitch markers just after you do your first decreases (and decrease before the stitch markers on the following rows.) Use your favorite needles (Addis for me) and yarn you love, like the Malabrigo Rios yarn, which I love because tt's gorgeous, easy to work with, and affordable.
