Chris designed this shawlette to use just 1 skein of sock yarn. This color, Sochi, was designed for the 2014 Winter Olympics in mind with colors of gold, silver, and bronze. The colors variegate beautifully in this design. Peregrine is constructed in the same manner as a traditional top down shawl, but the yarn over increases actually travel away from each other to mock the effect of lace without the decreases. At the end, rows of garter ridges and eyelets stand out before being bound off with a picot bind off for the extra pop in this stunning knit! Nice job Chris!
