Taken from Pom Pom Quarterly, Issue 15: Winter 2015: "We love Clare's take on the Art Deco period through the lens of the 1970's Biba aesthetic. Though in the early twentieth century peacock feathers were oftern reduced to orderly illustrative swirls, the 1970's took up the peacock feather motif in a wilder way, using it in psychedelic poster art. This pattern echoes those inspirations, working tail feathers in a reversible rib lace pattern. Clare advises that you not be scared of working the pattern on the wrong side - it's a predictable and easily memorized sequence to knit."
