This 2-ply sport-weight yarn is Swans Island's domestic answer to traditional wools used for Fair Isle and other colorwork knitting. They developed it specifically with colorwork in mind, but it's perfect for lightweight solids as well. They use Rambouillet wool from Western American ranches, have it scoured and spun at the oldest woolen-spun mill in the US, then hand-dye it at their Northport studio for a truly all American yarn.
