I wasn't sure what to expect from this cowl kit- yarn as TAPE??? I played with it first and arranged it in all sorts of shapes FUN!, took pictures then wound it. It was SO much easier thank the normal hank- NO knots or tangles. I love the soft yet sturdy feel of this yarn. Cowl half-done and the pattern is really beautiful different from anything I've done before & quite easy. The variegated colors of this yarn are beautiful First Impression/Carousel Horse. Seriously considering making another color Prairie Fire/Constellation!

sadly ... too many knots in yarn and just tearing while I knitted. SORRY!

After dropping several hints my spouse purchased this for me as a Valentine's Day gift. I didn't think I would get it since we normally don't exchange valentine's gifts but it is the best valentine's gift I have gotten in my life. It is adorable and soft and came lovingy packaged And I could not be more thrilled.

I have been knitting over 50 years and label this as one of the worst projects. Reminds me of the old yarn tape used for baskets/rugs - just pulled apart to knit now. Did call twice to Cust Service and they were wonderful. Only after I finally got it unwinding...experienced knots in the yarn after I started the project. I sense it is hit and miss with the yarn. Love the feel of the yarn..it is just poorly priced and poorly checked for knots on the assembly line when processing. just pulled apart once while knitting with it - had to weave in second piece I hope others have a better experience then I have had. Maybe I just received the loser valentine box! Sorry I am sure Jimmy Beans doesn't want to hear this but for $70.00 I expected better.
