Lorna's Laces Honor Yarn Reviews

A sumptuous blend of warm, rich alpaca and velvety soft silk, Honor is truly an extraordinary yarn. The plush, downy texture is kissed with just a hint of silken shine creating a remarkably ethereal fabric. Honor tends to hold dye with a muted intensity, resulting in faded, understated hues that showcase stitch details and shaping giving Honor a timeless elegance.

Honor 3 out of 5 stars (3 out of 5)
I really like the feel of the honor yarn and it knits and drapes beautifully. But I completed a shawl in multicolored yarn and when I blocked it the red ran. Even after multiple vinegar/salt water rinses later, the cream color had turned muddy and the other colors were muted. This was the London 2012 colorway. I won't be ordering with red again.

Soft and warm 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
A beautiful yarn to knit with and just enough self to give it a nice shine along with the soft fibers of alpaca. I get many complements on the colors in the scarf type of shawlette that was for the Downton Abbey KAL and thrilled that I stuck with it to finish.
