Great alternative for vegan or Wool-sensitive knitters. 4 out of 5 stars (4 out of 5)
This is a great yarn and makes a nice fabric. I just finished a Ravello sweater and am so pleased with the result! The yarn is soft and pleasant to work with and knits into a nice, tweedy fabric in stockinette. A few caveats: there is considerable difference in thickness from one color to the next. It may be lot to lot since each indindividual color is from the same dye lot. The red is the closest to DK, the dark gray to sport, and the Birch to fingering. The yarn has a thick thin texture so it is a bit delicate in some spots. I had no problem with breakage but I'd read previous reviews so I was careful with the thinner spots.
