Laura met the owner of GoPro cameras at an event and they hit it off. She offered to make him a hat inspired by the GoPro Logo and this is what we came up with! Designed by Gwen Bortner, the GoPro Hat features a cable design with vertical striped colors done using an intarsia cable technique. Knit in Schachenmayr original Boston, this hat is great for long-term wear and durability (and it's machine washable!) The pattern itself is unique and interesting and can be knit in a variety of your favorite colors!
Schachenmayr original Boston: 2 skeins color number 098 (MC),
1 skein each color 152 (C1), 151 (C2), 002 (C3).
**Please note: Color # 152 used in the pattern has since been discontinued. We recommend substituting color #065 Teal or #164 Aqua instead. Knitter's choice!**
19" head circumference x 7.5" tall (unblocked and unstretched)
Gauge:
17.5 sts and 20 rows = 4" in Cabled Rib pattern.
Please Note:
Pattern is worked back and forth (RS and WS rows) due to the intarsia technique used on the cables. However no seaming is required as a W&T is worked at the end of each row (wraps are left in place.)
