Beans for Brains is a 501(c)(3) merit-based scholarship program for artistic students attending an approved accredited institution of higher education in the United States.
This program recognizes students for a variety of characteristics such as GPA, community service, project knowledge, financial need, and more while uplifting their creativity
through fiber arts! This year we will award three scholarships of $2500 to students, sponsored by Jimmy Beans Wool, Madelinetosh and Knitter's Pride.
Terms And Conditions
This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for the Beans for Brains scholarship program, administered by Jimmy Beans Wool. All scholarships and awards will be referred to as 'scholarships' herein. By submitting an application for our scholarship, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
You must read these Terms and Conditions in their entirety before you accept your scholarship offer. When you accept your scholarship you are agreeing to and accepting these Terms and Conditions and agree to the requirements and conditions of your scholarship.
Students must meet all conditions as outlined in the agreement.
All correspondence between applicants and Beans for Brains representatives will be operated primarily via email, with the option of telephone communication, based on Beans for Brains administrators decision.
Any successful applicant may be required to show proof that they are enrolled on, or have been accepted on, an approved accredited institution of higher education in the United States, commencing studies for the fall semester 2021.
All students offered scholarships will receive an official 'offer' email offering the funds, and must reply either accepting or rejecting this offer within 14 days of receipt and must provide verification of enrollment in the Fall 2021 semester before receiving the funds.
Failure to respond within this 14-day period may result in the scholarship offer being withdrawn and reassigned. You must accept your scholarship offer by the due date, as instructed in your offer email, to be eligible to receive payment.
Beans for Brains will make payment of the funds in one single installment paid directly to the accredited institution.
The total value of the scholarship offered will be outlined in the official offer email.
Beans for Brains reserves the right to make final decision on how payment is made, and can withdraw the offer of scholarship if an amicable and realistic payment process cannot be reached.
Scholarships are awarded based on established eligibility criteria. You must meet the eligibility requirements to receive your scholarship payment. The eligibility requirements for each scholarship are outlined in our scholarship page of our website.
Beans for Brains is not responsible for and cannot provide you with financial advice on taxation matters. Beans for Brains is not responsible for checking and notifying you of, nor paying any taxation obligations.
Providing false or misleading information is an offense. If Beans for Brains knows or has reason to believe that you have provided false or misleading information, Beans for Brains may reassess your entitlement to the scholarship and you will be liable to re-pay to Jimmy Beans Wool the total sum of any payments incorrectly made to you.
Beans for Brains reserves the right to cancel the Scholarship program at any point. Beans for Brains reserve the right to share your application with any company affiliates, including personal information such as your email address.
