We invite all levels of maker to join us in the Jimmy Beans Wool shop for some fun (as well as your daily dose of fiber) and learning where we have Beans (staff) on hand to help teach and guide you through new techniques, ideas, and skills to add tools to your metaphorical making arsenal. Materials Needed: Hooks, yarn, to work on your desired project. If you are new to the craft: medium weight yarn and a I/9/5.5mm crochet hook. *Please come to class with your yarn wound, if you need assistance winding please arrive at class 30 minutes early.*

Class Description: Have you been thinking about trying your hand at knitting? Or maybe you knit years ago and need a refresher? Join us for a knitting class designed to seamlessly blend beginner knitting techniques with the sometimes challenging transition into more intermediate knitting adventures! In this friendly, no-stress class, you'll learn the basics of knitting, purling, and binding off. Or, take your skills to the next level with pattern reading, fixing mistakes, colorwork, or any project you're stuck on or having trouble with! We sincerely want you to become confident knitters, so feel free to take as many classes as you'd like. Each time, you'll learn something new!
Materials Needed: Needles, yarn, to work on your desired project. If you are new to the craft: worsted weight yarn, wound, US 8 / US 9 circular knitting needle or straight needles if you'd prefer, stitch Marker *If you are new to knitting, we suggest coming into Jimmy Beans Wool 30 minutes early, so that we can help with yarn selection, winding your yarn, and selecting needles.*
