In celebration of our super-successful Toshstrology 2016 collection this year, we're hosting a "Knit the Stars" Make-It event on Ravelry starting September 22! The rules are simple: between September 22 and October 22, finish a star-themed project! You can use one of the gorgeous Toshstrology colorways, choose an astrology-themed pattern, or just make a really good case for how your project relates to the "star" theme! The August Big Beanie Bags featured a bevy of beautiful yarns from one of our favorite hand-dyers: Koigu! They pour love and special care into each skein they hand-paint, and we poured some amazing treats into this month's bag! Each custom drawstring bag included 2 colors each of Koigu American Merino, a soft, sport-weight merino wool, and either two Koigu KPM or one each of KPM and KPPPM, a lovely, fingering-weight merino wool. We've also included a Nancy's Perfect Notions Case and a sample of Handmaid Lotion by Soak! And that's not all: our Rachel designed a beautiful, asymmetrical scarf/shawlette hybrid to put all that great yarn to good use, and teach you a few new tricks as well!
