Space and time mean little when love is involved, and on April 9, our beloved show Out*** (we are not allowed to use the whole name, but you know of which we speak!) is back with more of all of it: time travel, true love, and tartans! Luckily, Rachel dreamed up a colorway that's as timeless as it is gorgeous, and Lorna's made it a reality: take a peek at Jamie's Kilt! It's a rich and earthy blend of muted browns with just a hint of pale blue that would look perfectly at home on the Scottish moors or in a royal court. It's available in all your favorite Lorna's bases, as well as in the lovely 5-color String Quintets!  | Of course, the amazing color is only half of it: Rachel and Monika are also hosting a Mystery Knit- and Crochet-Along! Each mystery project uses 2 skeins of Shepherd Sock: one in Jamie's Kilt and one in a contrasting color (our official pick is Fjord, but we have some other beauties picked out). The clues will unfold over the course of 5 weeks - one per week as the episodes air on Starz, starting April 9th. |
Now for the supplies: we have Yarn-Only Kits available, and you can purchase your pattern directly from Rachel and Monika on Ravelry.Just don't forget your Spark Stitch Markers, created especially to coordinate with this month's color! NOTE! We are waiting on more of some of the coordinating solid color options like Fjord (the designers' pick!). More will be here in a couple weeks and any kits with those out of stock colors will ship by March 21st, to arrive in plenty of time before the Mystery Knit and Crochet Along kicks off! Be sure to get your pre-order in to ensure a kit is reserved for you and ships as soon as the yarn arrives!

It's bittersweet: the finale of Downton Abbey has arrived, and with it the conclusion of the Downton Mystery Knit- and Crochet-Along! The shawls you all worked so diligently on have turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined, and the Yorkshire Skies colorway does them proud! We know you'll be wearing them as you re-watch (and re-watch, again) the show!
