You all know February as the "month of love", but have you ever thought of turning it around and making it the "month of you"? We took that idea as our jumping-off point for this month's literary-inspired Micro-Brewed Series installments, and asked the dyers to create colors based on the mother of all self-love studies: Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert!
In search of self-knowledge, Ms. Gilbert escapes the aftermath of a painful divorce by traveling to Italy (to eat), India (to pray), and the Indonesian island of Bali (we don't need to tell you what happens there!).
We hope these sensational new colorways will pique your interest to explore your own mind and heart - whether you travel far to do it, or stay right at home!

 | There's nothing more comforting than homemade Italian food - unless it's a homemade project in deliciously squishy single-ply yarn! Danu from A Hundred Ravens is 240 yards of DK-weight, superwash, single-ply beauty that soaks up color like a thick toasted crouton in a mug of garlicky minestrone, and looks decidedly great doing it! This month's colorway, Tuscany, is a stunning mix of terra cotta, peach and lavender inspired by tile rooftops and the patina of aging Italian stone walls, and we can't wait to take our knitting outside to the corner cafe and sip espresso while we stitch! |

The next stop on our trans-continental tour is vibrant and vivacious India, where Ms. Gilbert learned the art of meditation, self-reflection, and prayer. Fittingly, Tink Yarn created a cheerful purple hue called Khush, which means "happy" in Hindi - and it makes us happy just to look at it! It's especially jaunty on the Glitz Sock base, a merino/nylon blend with sparkly stellina spun right in! Your eyes won't be the only thing twinkling with happiness while you're working with this pretty yarn - so will your project! | |

 | The journey wouldn't be complete without its final stop, where Ms. Gilbert finally learns about true love: Bali! Yarn Carnival plays tribute to this portion of the trip with a radiant color inspired by the Indonesian island, a mix of clear-water aqua and the vivid pinks and oranges of the petals in traditional Balinese flower offerings. It's love at first sight, and it glows on the Petite Fan Dancer base, an 80/20 merino/silk blend with beautiful drape for shawls and cowls. |
