Part two of the Hobbit movie trilogy is due out this month and, as such, we figured it was the perfect time to release (a day early!) a Lorna's Limited edition color inspired by "The Shire." (Sorry Downton fans, you'll just have to wait until next month for the sequel to last December's Christmas at Downton color! We have got big plans, so stay tuned!)
"The Shire" features deep greens, teals and blues, with splashes of gray and brown - the perfect Hobbit-themed color to knit with this month. As you can imagine, we've got quite a few Tolkien fans on staff here at JBW, and we've already got a few projects on the needles! Kristen is casting on for some socks for her hubby in Shepherd Sock (she says it will help to cover up his Hobbit-like feet, tee hee); and Sharon is knitting herself a stocking style cap in Shepherd Worsted.
