This updated version of the classic Folded Poncho is a blast to make! Developed by Kit Hutchin, she has us roll the dice to determine stripe placement and number of rows. This stunning beauty is available in two color options, rainbow and neutral using 6 to 10 colors of Felted Tweed. You can also view all Churchmouse Classics Patterns.
I loved making this shawl, and I enjoyed the process of choosing colors and row counts. I did use Jul Designs fasteners rather than stitching the shoulder seam. I also made my project a little larger by about 10 inches. The big surprise was my 30 year old niece modeling it at Easter when we all got together and then styling it on my 85 year old mother. It also looks great on my taller sister, but I think it looks best on ME!
