The Carry-All tote has multiple uses: quilting project, overnight bag, baby tote for toys and diapers, or just a fun bag to take to the beach. Tote is 16" x 22"; Adult Throw is 50" x 62"; and Baby Throw is 30" x 42".
Yardage:
Tote: 1 1/3 yd for outside (if using single fabric - for pieced you will need 1/3 yd each of five fabrics and 3/4 yd of one); 1 1/3 yd lining, ties, and handles; 1 1/3 yd medium-weight quilt batting or fleece; 1 large snap or 1" Velcro; and optional 3 yd ric rac trim. For Baby Size: 1/3 yd for center; 1/4 yd of four diff. fabrics; 1/3 yd of two diff. fabrics; 1/2 yd for strips; 1 1/4 yd for backing; 34" x 46" quilt backing. Adult Size: 3/4 yd for center; 1/4 yd for strip; 3/8 yd for strip; 1/2 yd of four diff. fabrics; 3/4 yd for strip; 2/3 yd for strip; 3.5 yd for backing; 54" x 66" quilt batting.
