Sweetwater Fabric - Hometown Fabric

Hometown- Everybody has one - or two, or three. The Sweetwater team soon found that out last fall when they asked their blog readers to send in theirs for their secret upcoming project. Be careful what you ask for! They soon got hundreds then thousands of responses. Because they wanted to include everyone, they tried to put them all into the "Town Square" print. However, had they used them all, they would still be working on it! They not only got responses from the United States, there are towns from countries worldwide. They think they stopped at the first 1000. We hope everyone will have fun spotting their hometown, and not too upset if the Sweetwater team couldn't fit it in! |

Mama Said Sew started on a trip to downtown Fort Collins, Colorado, also known as "Old Town". It is a fun, lively place, filled with specialty shops, restaurants and the cutest little fabric store. It just so happens the name of that store is "Mama Said Sew". Perfect! Perfect for that store filled with modern, fresh fabric and perfect for the name of a fabric collection - thankfully, the owner agreed. Mama Said Sew celebrates everything the Sweetwater team love about sewing. The black, red and gray go wonderfully together, but they are most excited to make two color quilts- red and white, black and white, or gray and white quilts that are amazing, timeless and so striking. |

Sweetwater Fabric - Noteworthy Fabric

Remember when we actually wrote things down with a pencil and paper? Today there is an app for all of that. Noteworthy was inspired by that pencil and paper time. The designer used to love doodling in school and says her notes often looked like the "Bucket List" print- with random lists, stars and flowers all over the page. Their family phone book was covered with doodles- much like the prints from this line. Noteworthy was also inspired by the important things in life, and Sweetwater hopes the "Bucket List" print will inspire you to think about your own bucket list - about what is important to you. The color scheme of this collection is one of their favorites. It's fresh, happy and makes them long for summer. Just like when the designer was doodling in high school- she was always longing for summer! |
