Delicious Yarn  Review 1 of 3

I've knit with yarns that worm before, and this is the best behaved, following Sally Melville's instructions for her minimal scarf to the letter.  Knit on 8's, I had virtually no worming.  I did tack the ends in with needle and thread after felting, and I did wash and dry the finished scarf as Sally instructs.  The result is absolutely yummy, and because Touch Me colors are so gorgeous, this would make a special gift for anyone and well worth the price of the yarn.

Touch Me Punish Me Rip Me Love Me  Review 2 of 3

I knit the "Minimum Scarf" from Sally Melville's Knit 1 Book.  Initially I thought this would be a quickie easy project--but soon I was calling it the "scarf from hell."  I had an extremely hard time getting and keeping a consistent gauge--much muttering and tinking.  However, once I got my groove on this yarn was a total pleasure to knit with and once it was processed it created an unbelievably luxurious fabric.  A sensual delight.  I machine washed it on warm and dried it on warm--magical!

Soft and Shiny  Review 3 of 3

I've made a couple of scarves and 1 hat from this yarn. it's definitely a little tricky to knit with, but once you figure out how to handle it, it becomes worth it!

I learned that it's better to use a smaller needles, as opposed to a larger one. Personally, i won't use larger than a US 10.5. I also try really hard not to handle the garment too much while i'm knitting... that seems to reduce the 'worming.' Finally, when i finished, i sewed in the ends but didn't cut them (i did that after felting). Then, i put the scarf (or hat) in the washing machine with towels and on the hot/hot cycle. I DID NOT put it in the DRYER. when i took it out of the washing machine, it looked like a wet dog - and took about 2 days to dry. the sheen returned after it completely dryed - and got silkier with age and handling!
