| this is a FABULOUS colorway...be sure to get some while they are in stock. I ordered both the sock and the worsted, they arrived today, and I just had to have more. The sock is a much more rich combo of colors, but the worsted is also most lovely...(I just ordered more sock yarn)

| lilypad April's color way.....all I can say is it sooo pretty, that I am swooning when I see it.....just wanted you to know, try to get some of this wooly bit of loveliness....

| <P>My house is in complete disorder! We are "moving out" to rip up the carpet and put down hardwood. OMG! So, alas, my stash was boxed up and put into the Pod in the driveway by my wonderful, but over zealous husband.</P>
<P>I finished my last December & January Lorna's Laces colorways, and was in despair for something to knit! The February color was in the boxed stash. Blessed be there was the April color on the web site! As soon as it arrived (rapidly I might add, did you folks know I was desperate?) I started an new pair of socks.</P>
<P>I love this yarn!!! It feels good in the hand and knits like a dream. Lily Pad is so pretty. I feel springy just looking at it. I get so many complements on the socks it produces. </P>

| I bought 2 skeins of this sock yarn to make a pair of socks & had so much left over that I think one would have sufficed. I have long admired the lovely colorways of Lorna's Laces &, in fact, made some thicker socks for winter wear from the sport weight superwash which I have worn for several years. I had had several colorways in my stash but had never gotten around to using them (somehow it was just easier to grab a ball og Opal than to wind the LL into balls). A few months ago, I became enamored of the Somerset colorway, bought 2 skeins & knit a pair of socks right away. They are by far the nicest socks I own - very, very soft, fantastic colors & they have held up very nicely through several machine washings & dryings. I may sell off all my other sock yarn so I can wear only socks knit from this yarn!

| <P>The exclusive colors are amazing! I have been a fan of Shepherd Sock for some years now, the colors are always beautiful, the quality of the yarn itself outstanding - a joy to work with and to wear, it holds up really well for me (even with a husband who walks around in socks without shoes, and children who sometimes let their handknit socks go through the normal wash cycle.) I lucked onto the December and January colors and made a special point to look for the February and order before it got away - these colorways are just amazingly awesome, computer monitors don't do them justice. I'll be back the 20 of every month.</P>

| I really like the limited sock yarns. They are beautiful and fun colors. Your fast service is the greatest. It is really nice getting the yarn in a couple of days instead of 10 like other online stores I have bought from. Keep up the good work. |

| The Aug. 07 color is absolutely wonderful; wildly vivid, simply amazing combo. I love most LL sock yarn colors, but they really outdid themselves for your first ltd. edition. Great yarn, too. Can hardly wait to cast on for some special socks as soon as I free up some needles. And I know I'm going to have to budget for the JB colors; I may have to buy every month, if I make it in time. ;) This is a wonderful idea; thanks for coming up with this offering!

I just received my sock yarn for Aug. 07.
It is absolutely gorgeous. Several of my friends were there when it was delivered and raved about the colors. I can't wait to start knitting the socks. I know they are going to be absolutely beautiful. I can't wait until the next new color comes out so I can order it. |
