The yarn is hand spun on drop spindles by a women's cooperative in Arequipa, Peru, and provides the spinners with a living wage.

Skinny Dyed
Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Dyed Yarn $9.70	100% organically grown cotton. Colors are created with low-impact dyes. Hand wash or dry clean. Wash in tepid water using a mild soap. Do not twist. Shape and dry flat on a towel. Store your little treasure neatly folded, after all, it may be a family heirloom! Note: we at JBW are calling this a machine washable yarn, as we've washed it and not had any problems!
