... to try the Addi Turbo Circular? I just received my first size 15 (40") thanks to jimmy beans' awesomely quick shipping, and transferred a WIP to the new needle yesterday evening. This is like abandoning the rusty Ford Falcon for a new Lincoln at the midpoint in a cross country trip. Smooth, quiet, elegant feel ... I'm very eager for my next needles to arrive so I can cast on for another project.

Don't let the price put you off. High quality tools enhance the satisfaction of the creating process, and make it easier to keep on knitting through the dreaded plateau I often reach in the middle of a bigger project.

I look forward to many years of happy knitting and at least 50 children's hats for the giving tree project this year, thanks to the new Addi needles.

I placed an order on a Monday morning for 10 sets of Addi turbo needles. That afternoon I got an email letting me know my order had already shipped. Now it is only Wednesday and my order is here! Shipping was also free because of the size of the order.

I order things online frequently from different companies and this is by far the fastest and best service I have seen. I will be using Jimmy Beans Wool for all of my knitting needs and will be referring all of my friends to them as well! Great Job!

I thought that I would branch out slightly from my usual bamboo needles and give these a try. Their advertising is absolutely true- your stitches just glide lickety-split across the needles. This is great if you are doing a simple project in stockinette or garter stitch. The problem with them though is that, when doing more detailed work, your stitches just glide lickety-split OFF the needles. I was trying to do some delicate lace work with these and kept dropping stitches like crazy because they are so slippery. I finally gave up and transfered my work over on to bamboos.

| Have been knitting since 5!!! about 57 years now. Done professional knitting and knitting for several movies in town. Used everything out there! So glad to try these. WANT the whole set...circular and straight. I have stayed away from metal and used bamboo...But now I will stick with this.....Cannot ask for a better 57 year endorsement. Thanks |

I'm not normally fond of metal needles, and have been increasingly replacing my metal straights with bamboo, birch, or rosewood straights.
However, these circular needles live up to their advertising - knitting with them is very smooth and quick. I never would have thought I'd find myself recommending these needles, but they're worth the price. |
