This baby sweater pattern was the winner of our April 2007 Pattern Contest! Congratulations Valerie Wallis! You can read more about her inspirations (and other pattern ideas) on her blog
The sweater is knit in two pieces. The main piece is knit up the back and down the front. A detachable front panel is knit with buttonholes on both sides. Alternate panels could be knit to accommodate holidays, whims, or disastrous stains.
Suitable for the intermediate knitter.
Kit includes Yarn. You can print the pattern today from the Free Pattern section on our website.
Suggested US 8 Circular Needles are not included.
If you are knitting the larger size, you'll want (but don't have to have) 10 buttons instead of 8....
