This gorgeous blanket is knitted with 2 strands of yarn held together and using 2 different colors at once. From the book: "To highlight that effect, I decided to knit this blanket with two strands of yarn in different colors held together, and make a gradual transition between the stripes by changing only one color at a time. The stitch pattern i chose has a lot of depth without being too dense and the textured suface creates "pockets" that trap warm air. This is a luxurious project that is sure to be treasured."
