I'm currently making my fourth sweater with this yarn. I've also made two scarves and I've got plans for a fith sweater. It is a wonderful yarn. Good hand, drapes beautifully, perfect for lace stitches and does nicely with garter as well as SS. It really is beautiful yarn. It's one of my favorites.
I absolutely love Addi turbo needles. They are comfortable to hold, the joins are ALWAYS smooth and the cable is never stiff. I also love their lace needles. All the above, but the needle is more pointed and it saves the yarn from catching. There is also just the slightest drag on the lace needles so you don't worry som much about looser lace stitches dropping off.
Addi needles are wonderful. Period.
I made this pattern with Manos Del Uraguay merino-silk blend and it's been wonderful to wear. The yarn itself is a dlegiht to use and the sweater is soft against the skin and looks lovely. I did I-cord ties and it worked well.
I just finished a little guersney style tunic for my great nephew in Norway. I'll take it to him when we go next month. This yarn knits up so evenly and nicely. It has a lovely hand and a beautiful drape. I would use it for just about any DK patern and be pleased.
I have now made three sweaters with this and I will be starting a fourth shortly. I have used both the multi- and the single color yarn. The hand is lovely-- almost like knitting with air. The drape is lovely and the colors are marvelous. The only thing I would watch for is the possibility that the colors will pool as you use the multi- or the whitish areas will pool as you use the single color. I have another ball wound at all times. When I see the color pooling, I use two rows with one ball and two from the second and it usually works out.
But this is wonderful yarn.
I have made three sweaters from this yarn and I'm thinking of making two more. It is delightful to knit with. It has a wonderful hand and the drap is superlative. The colours are marvelous.I wish all yarns were as lovely to knit with.
