60+ years of knitting and I am slowly getting rid of all but my Knitters Pride needles. Not a fan of interchangeable sets, I fixed needles. Knitters Pride are smooth, not too slippery, but not grabby like bamboo. The points are long, ending in a fine tip, allowing you to move your work onto the tip and making ease of knitting stitches together, etc. When using cotton fibler, there is no substitution for Knitters Pride

Smooth, just the right amount of friction, super points. They work for all fibers, you don't need any other type of needles than Knitter's Pride.
