I am working with this yarn on the popular Color Affection pattern on Ravelry. I know that the yarn and garment will change a lot with washing and blocking. Can't wait til I'm done with the shawl to see what happens! Right now I am in love with the crunchy hand it's got. I wish I could keep that aspect, but the softening will make it more wearable.

I bought 3 colors in this linen to make the ever popular Color Affection that's been going around on Ravelry. It's crisp and the yarn construction is really interesting. I don't know how to describe it. It will soften immensely once I'm done knitting with it, and that makes me a little sad. But the softening of it will add drape, and that's a good thing!

These are beautiful needles, and if you are in the market for the sharpest needle you can get, these are it. I can see a use for them, say a very firmly twiset yarn, but using a yarn that tends to split anyway made knitting with these a headache.

I am sure I'll come back for a better review once I've actually worked with this yarn. But being limited edition, I wanted to get my colors! My plan is to knit a blanket, perhaps in a log cabin type of pattern.
