I buy Regia to make socks for my family and friends. It's hard wearing, and love the fabulous variegated color families. No worries about how they may wash or handle it, either: It can take the punishment of machine washing and drying. Love it!

a very light fingering weight yarn, it knits up into a decidedly feminine fabric that has a delicate sheen and a fine hand.

Regia is a great choice for HARD WEARING socks. It softens up beautifully in the wash and wears like iron while looking beautiful.

It's a lighter fingering weight sock yarn, but it knits up beautifully and washes well. Just don't subject it to the dryer!! Great for colorwork, too, as it comes in a bunch of colors. I am confident enough of this yarn to knit gifts to be given with pride.

A tad fuzzy, but it knits up into beautiful distinctive fabric. Very soft and cozy after a wash, blooms nicely.

Merino Mia has a nice tight twist, shows stitch definition beautifully, and is a joy to knit with. One of my very favorite yarns ... the colorways are lush and sophisticated too. Worth every penny.

Not as good as the last couple of years issues, but you may find something quick to make for a holiday gift.
