OK-So I get the pattern and immediately start a pair plenty of Lamb's pride bulky in my stash. So easy-I finish the pair in one day. Neighbor sees them and wants a pair. Then sister sees them and wants a pair. Is this ever going to stop? I now have a waiting list of seven people who all want a pair. If you buy this pattern, be resdy to make lots!!!

What can I say? LL Shepherd's worsted has become my most favorite yarn for knitting socks yes, the worsted weight for socks. Knit on US3 dpn's, it makes the best cool weather socks-soft, warm, and cushy. It's all I use for my socks.

I have become a confirmed Lorna's Laces Swirl Dk knitter. This yarn knits up into the best socks. I use size US3 dpns and cast on 48 sts. I knit apx 70 rows in 2x2 rib for the leg and knit the foot in stockinet. Lightweight but very warm and soft. I love my Swirl DK socks!!!

This is my first time using Swirl DK. Just a bit thicker than the Shepherd Sport.I tried a pair of socks and they turned out great. Very soft and warm. A wonderful yarn!
