The metallic and bright shimmery color makes a great contrast against the black base. If you like eyelash yarns, I would definitely recommend these gorgeous selections. I would give this a higher rating because it is beautiful when knit up but it's SUCH a headache to work with simply because of the nature of eyelash novelty yarn in general. I really want to be in love with this stuff, but it's so much extra work that I just don't find it fun to knit with. If I have future projects that call for this sort of novelty yarn, I'll reach for it again, but only if it's necessary.

I used this to make a comforting hat for a young lady going through radiation treatment. It's soft and snuggly, perfect for someone who can't tolerate scratchier materials against her skin at the moment.

The color changes in the shading of this wonderful yarn is so subtle, I didn't even notice the variations until I had a nearly finished project. The dual tones in this unplied yarn make for a delightfully mottled effect as well. I'm working with the Green in an aquatic themed project and the dark blue mixed in is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this yarn and can't wait for an excuse to buy some again. :

I just love the hand of this yarn. It's so soft and the colors are gorgeous. I've made quite a few hats from this now and it's never disappointed for warmth, ease of care, and wearability.

I made a beret for my husband that turned out so nice, I suddenly had orders for more from his co-workers. The only 'complaint' was that this stuff is so warm, it's hard to wear inside for very long. I love how squishy it is and the cashmere makes it ridiculously soft. The dark colors make the luxuriousness of the yarn manly enough for even my ex-military hubby.
