Truly addictive once you learn how to hand knit and I am referring to non needle hand to hand knitting. In ten minutes you have an amazing scarf.

Any one who knits wants to know how it's done. A classic case of scarf envy. Hand knitting at its best with this beautiful yarn. If you don't know how to hand knit - not talking about finger knitting -
google it and watch the u-tube. 10 minutes one skein amazing and beautiful

Worth the effort
Part of me is really sorry this is a discontinued yarn but at the same time I think I understand part of the reason that it didn't have longevity .
Very challenging to start but then once you get a rhythm it flies.
Here's the trick for those still on board. Cast on 9 sts like all ribbon yarns. Then work first row using the bottom edge ladder of the same yarn you just cast on. To do that you need to push sts on needle to begin of needle since you will be working first sts on needle again. Then wind up at end of row where you left yarn hanging. Work top of ribbon ladder across nine sts. Then push back to end of needle and work bottom ladder. It's kind of like working the same yarn twice, once on top and once on bottom. If you use the color on the top of pillow of last row as the new first row you will have different color stripes on each side. If not then both sides will be mirror image. I liked the non-mirror. Hope this helps. The rewards are great.
