I bought this yarn to make a prayer shawl for a friend. The colors were true to what I saw on the website, which made me very happy. At first I thought the yarn wasn't as soft as I'd hoped, but as I'm knitting with it, it seems to get softer and softer, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. The shawl is going to be special for my special friend. I couldn't be more pleased. I had to frog a few rows and the yarn stood up to it well. It's a pleasure to knit with.

I used this pattern to make my first few pairs of socks. It's clearly written and easy to follow. Very pleased!

I really like knitting with this yarn. I'm making a summer shawl for a friend using size 19 needles. It's knitting up lacy. The little "orchids" can have a tendency to fray a bit, but overall, it's doing exactly what I wanted the yarn to do. The large needles help whole "orchids" pop out so that the whole thing shows in certain places. I hope that the shawl will last a long time, but will have to wait and see how it holds up.

I used this yarn in combination with mohair to knit myself my first felted hat. It was delightful to work with, felted beautifully and is wearing well. The colorways of this yarn are wonderful (I used Crazy Woman). Everytime I go to a yarn store, I head for this yarn!

I used this yarn to make my very first pair of socks because I fell in love with the colorway and softness of the yarn. I was not disappointed in any way. My socks are fabulous, and are wearing well. I love this yarn!

I love this yarn! It's fun to work with, and I've used it in all kinds of projects, including a carryalong yarn on a blanket I'm knitting as well as crochet Hawaiian lei. It holds together well, and I love the colors in it.

I was really drawn to this yarn because of all the different textures in it. I liked knitting it and made a scarf with it. But within just a couple of times of wearing, I found that the yarn snagged on everything. The metallic fibers separated from the others, and now the scarf looks kind of ratty. I will cut off the bad parts, but I won't knit with this yarn again.

I made my husband a basketweave stitch scarf out of this yarn, and it knit up very easily and showed great stitch definition. He loves it because it's so soft.
I have read that in time, this yarn will lose that stitch definition, but so far so good.
The only thing that I had to watch was that it slipped very quickly through my fingers, so I really had to increase the tension on it as I knit (looping the yarn twice over my index finger instead of once as I usually do). |

Although I haven't made anything other than a scarf with this yarn, I am extremely pleased with it. I bought it when I first got into knitting and had no idea how gorgeous yarn could be.
The yarn is soft, and I love the thick-thin effect when I knit with it. The colors are absolutely to die for. Yes, it's expensive... however, I think it's worth every penny. |

I am very happy with this set; the case is very handy, and I really like the bent tip needles; they're so much easier to weave in ends or sew with than straight needles. The eyes are a great size, and the needles comfortable in my hand.
